Uma Rupesh Pahad, residing in Khatwali Pada, Parnali, faced significant financial hardships that prevented her from pursuing education beyond the 6th standard. Recognizing the need for opportunities, our Visaan Trust initiated sewing classes at the Samaj Mandir in Khatwalipada. In 2010, Uma joined our sewing class, driven by her passion for sewing. Utilizing her skills, she began creating a variety of garments such as frocks, blouses, and skirts for herself and others.
To support Uma’s progress in sewing and provide her with a means of livelihood, our organization generously provided her with a fully-functional sewing machine for use at home, enabling her to generate a steady income.
