On Tuesday, 12th September 2023, we had the opportunity to take the girls on a visit to the Panchayat Samiti. During our visit, Mr. Prashant, a respected figure in the Panchayat Samiti, explained to the girls that the Panchayat Samiti plays a crucial role in the development and welfare of the district. It works in coordination with other important bodies such as the District President, Gram Panchayat, Zilla Parishad, and the Ministry, all of whom collaborate in the planning and execution of various projects and programs. By visiting the Panchayat Samiti, the girls gained valuable insights into the functioning of local governance and administration. They were introduced to the key individuals who hold important positions within the Panchayat Samiti. These include the Group Development Officer, who oversees the overall development and progress of the community. Additionally, the girls were introduced to local bodies who is responsible for addressing and resolving any concerns related to healthcare and medical facilities. Furthermore, the Group Education Officer, who ensures the smooth functioning of educational initiatives within the district. This includes implementing programs to enhance the quality of education and promote equal access to learning opportunities for all. The visit also provided the girls with the opportunity to meet Mr. Prakash Nikam, the President of the Zilla Parishad, and Mr. Pankaj Kare, the Vice President who hold significant roles in overseeing the overall development and progress of the district. It was an enlightening experience that showcased the importance of collective planning, collaboration, and the role of different stakeholders in bringing about positive change of their community and contribute to a brighter future for all.
